Glenn Kooyer Memorial Award - Dayton 2009
PRESENTED TO LARRY CRIDER - 1948 PONTIAC WOODIE STATION WAGON
2009 marked the fourth anniversary of the Glenn Kooyer Memorial Award. Glenn was a past president of the Minnesota Tomahawk Chapter and proud builder and owner of a custom 1957 Pontiac Safari wagon.
Glenn was taken from us unexpectedly in a tragic boating accident on Lake Superior on October 16, 2005. He is survived by his loving wife Linda, and two sons, Adam and Brian. The Tomahawk Chapter of POCI is pleased to have made a perpetual award in Glenn's honor to the outstanding Pontiac wagon or sedan delivery at each year's POCI convention.
Past winners include Bob Garacochea's 1958 "Bonnewood" wagon, Lou Callasibetta's 1957 Transcontinental Safari station wagon, known as "Surfari" and Spearfish winner Lloyd Hahn with his custom 1955 Safari.
Congratulations Larry!
