Vice-President Michael Murray announces two new scholarships for 2026

Four total Scholarships for 2026 - Time to get those applications in!

Michael Murray, Vice-President of POCI, also holds the position of Chairperson for the POCI Scholarship committee. On behalf of the entire committee, he is thrilled to share the exciting news of two new scholarships for the 2026 calendar year:

"I am delighted to unveil not just one, but TWO new scholarships! POCI has expanded its offerings from two to a total of four. The new scholarships are as follows: the Donald A. Bougher, Founder Memorial Scholarship, established in his honor by his wife Pat, valued at $1,500. Additionally, we have the POCI Street Rod/Modified Chapter Scholarship, sponsored by the Street Rod/Modified chapter, also at $1,500. Let's extend our congratulations to these new scholarship sponsors. This development brings the total number of scholarships available for members' children or grandchildren to four. As the Scholarship Chairperson, I am thrilled to present these opportunities to our POCI families. As such, the POCI Board is proud to announce the availability of these four scholarships, exclusively for the children and grandchildren of its members. These scholarships comprise the traditional POCI International Scholarship, the John M. Sawruk, P.E., Memorial Scholarship, as well as the Don Bougher - POCI Founder Memorial Scholarship, and the POCI Street Rod Modified Chapter Scholarship.
