KSC CHAPTER NEWS

After a great 2006, KSC finished our Jan. members meeting planning out the 2007 season. We had an excellent turnout. We did some minor restructuring of our show trophy classes to try to help with confusion and cost to the dealerships. We discussed the on going dilema of attracting and keeping the interest of younger auto enthusiasts. We have some exciting tours planned, we are also working to bring back our Spring Meet show. GM on display at the Macungie Memorial park is scheduled for April 29th. This is always a great show, in a beautiful park setting. This show is open to all GM vehicles stock or modified, no year limitation. We will be involved with the local AACA with a couple of touring events. These events try to promote driving you're classic/antique vehicles. Being part of an AACA event promises a "neat" selection of autos. June 30th will see our mid season members meeting being held again at Knoebels Amusement Resort. Our club picnic returns hosted by the Reichs' July 21st. We participate in the Macungie Pa. event called Das Auckfest. A 3 day event including music, food, swap meet, and cars! We'll be there Sunday, placing the Oaklands and Pontiacs in their respective positions among the other stock type show cars from all manufacturers. Join us August 3rd thru 5th. Our Fall Meet and Fall Tour with our annual Junkyard tour, 2007 is shaping up to be a stellar year. So join us in any and all these events, and help us to make this year a great year!
