LITTLE RHODY CHAPTER REVIEW AND NEWS UPDATE September, 2007 Steve Freitas coordinated Little Rhodys participation in the inaugural Governors Classic Car Appreciation Day car show. Each participant was awarded a certificate and the chapter was recognized for its work in raising funds for The Tomorrow Fund. Steve Freitas and Phil Page were awarded top 60 prizes at the World Of Autos Show at Goddard Park on July 28th. The Faily Picnic at the home of Bob and Corrine Verdonne was a great success with 10 couples attending. Our thanks go out to Bob and Corrime for opening their home to Little Rhody. On a less positive note, the Eastern Regional in Saddlebrooke, NJ had to be cancelled. Our annual pilgrimage to the Adirondack Nationals in Lake George, NY is scheduled for September 6th. As usual there will be barbeques on both Friday and Saturday evenings. We look forward to supporting our sister chapters fall Pontiac shows which include Nutmeg (September 30th), Garden State (October 7th) and Long Island (October 21st). Although there will be several events in between, log December 2nd on your calendars for the Norman Rockwell Christmas on Main Street Recreation.
