The Yankee Chapter held its 26th Annual Anniversary Party in March. Three of our original founding members attended the event, held in Weston, MA. Fifty members gathered for an evening filled with entertainment and wonderfully delicious cuisine. Plans are in full swing for our Annual Dustoff. On Sunday, May 20th, Yankee members will meet at Columbia Buick Pontiac GMC on Washington Street (Route 53, next to the Hanover Mall) in Hanover, MA. Start time is 9 AM. An urgent legislative alert has been received via e-mail in regard to H.B. 3574, banning the sale and installation of aftermarket exhaust systems. Rep. Liz Malia has reintroduced this bill. Club members have been urged to contact members of the Massachusetts Joint Transportation Committee to voice their opposition to this damaging piece of legislation.
