NORTH COAST PONTIAC CHAPTER - September update

The featured car for the month of September was Ron Lockhart's 1967 Bonneville. Ron has been the proud owner of this all original survivor for 22 years. From Duncan, South Carolina, the '67 ended up at a used car lot on the West Side of Cleveland. This Poncho caught Ron's eye immediately. He thought she would be a great car for the whole family to enjoy. The Bonne has certainly lived up to Ron's expectations. This nineteen-foot, two-door hardtop sports a vinyl roof. The exterior color is Montego Cream. The paint is still original. The original skirts add great dimension. Its classic design includes a bench seat, side moldings, and the original glass. The '67 has a four-barrel and a 400 cubic inch motor. The Rally 2s enhance her remarkable look. Everything in the car works and she runs great. This beautiful Bonneville is definitely comfortable to cruise. (Ron has had it up to 110 mph.) This Poncho has gone to several POCI conventions and has won the Gold Trophy. In addition, Ron enjoys driving the '67 to cruises, shows and other North Coast Pontiac Chapter events. This all original, 72,000 mile survivor with crisp smooth lines can still turn heads. Ron can boast that this extraordinary cruiser has been a great car the whole family has enjoyed. John from PSP Metal Art was the speaker at our September 15th meeting.
