November 2006

After nearly seven years as the one and only newsletter editor for the OVERHEAD CAMMERS Chapter, Steve Hovanesian has decided to step down as Editor. A move to a new home in Maine, completing his 69 Tempest, and work proved to be too much and something needed to go.

Steve has won several awards as editor, including a couple of first place awards in the newsletter competition at the POCI nationals. The Cammers need someone to step up and become editor. The Nov/Dec issue is scheduled to be Steve's last one. If you have any questions about what's involved, please contact Steve at either gto68custom69@netscape.com or (207) 646-6207. If you want to volunteer or join the Overhead Cammers Chapter, contact either Jim Black, President, at gtojr@cox.net or Rick DiGiacomo, Vice President, at frdigi@cox.net or (401) 934-0663.

On a more upbeat note, Jim Black is trying to schedule a tour of RT 66 in conjunction with the POCI nationals in Tulsa. The preliminary plan is to leave Chicago and drive to Tulsa at a nice leisurely pace so that we can enjoy America's most famous highway.

You do not need to be an OHC member to join us. If you're interested, please contact Jim or Rick.
