Nutmeg Chapter Update - Oct.

On Sunday September 30th 2007 the Nutmeg Chapter held our 24th Annual Fall Car Show at Barberino Pontiac in Wallingford, CT. With a beautiful fall day 169 Pontiacs covered the show field. Car Show Chairman Mike ONeill would like to thank all the volunteers who pitched in to make the show great and all the participants for bring their cars out. A big Thank You to Paul Barberino and Barberino Pontiac for sponsoring the show. The Best of Show winner was Sharon Brainard with a 1951 Catalina. The Dealers Choice winner was Gene Forcier with a 1967 Modified Firebird. The Longest Distance Driven winner was Wilf Kaszanits driving his 1962 Laurentian 640 miles from Washago Ontario. Congratulations to them and all the class winners. The Newest Nutmeggers are: David and Sharon Sheppard from Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. They have a 1961 Catalina. Jerry and Sherry Ferraro and their children, Jerry, Carissa, and Nick from Wallingford, CT. They have a 1967 and a 1969 firebird. Michael Wargo and daughters, Tiffany, Alexa and Angelina from Orange, CT. They have 1972 and a 1973 Trans Am.
