Piedmont Chapter News - Feb

The Piedmont Chapter held their annual Valentines Dinner at the Outwest Steakhouse in Kernersville, NC on Feb. 10th. 30 members braved the high winds and traveled amid wrecks and downed power lines to attendwe like to eat! Elections for the year were held following the meal. No one even overspent their campaign funds to win a seat. Several directors had met prior to the meeting to prepare an interest survey for the members to indicate their preferences for activities thru out the year. A composite of responses will assist in designing the calendar for the year. A wide variety of events from car museums, race shops, airplane museums, cruise-ins, and area car shows were included as choices. Things are quiet in the Tar Heel state, other than a couple of cruise-ins that continue year round.
