POCI announces the newly-elected Regional Directors

The Pontiac-Oakland Club International is proud to announce the results of this year's Board of Directors elections, and the addition of three new members to its volunteer Board of Directors: John Cappelman-Northeast Division, Michael Murray-Central East Division, Peggy Mullinax Cox-Southern Division, Mark Neumann-Western Division, Frank Hicks-Midwest Division, Scott van Tamelen-Great Lakes Division.

John Cappelman, Michael Murray, and Peggy Mullinax-Cox are all Incumbent nominees winning re-election to 4yr terms. Mark Neumann, Frank Hicks, and Scott van Tamelen are first-time additions to the Board, they will also be serving 4yr terms.

The 13 members of the POCI Board of Directors are elected by the membership. Every two years, 6 of the Board positions are open for election. The remaining Board positions are comprised of Director Emeritus positions which are lifetime positions and held by the club's first six Presidents. The Convention Coordinator position serves as a non-voting Director and is chosen by the elected Board of Directors.

Driven by a shared enthusiasm for the Pontiac, Oakland, and GMC automotive brands these volunteers collaborate to use their diverse expertise and viewpoints to actively support the membership and the mission of POCI.

“We are excited that John, Peggy, and Michael will be continuing with us and equally excited to welcome Mark, Frank, and Scott to the board,” said Art Barrett, President of POCI. “Their years of experience serving their area chapters and promoting POCI will greatly serve the national club and its membership.”
