Six Nations Chapter Update

Six Nations Chapter News January 2, 2011 Our Annual Christmas Party & Election of Officers was a great ending to another successful year held this year at Pier 57 Restaurant Liverpool N.Y.. The food was delicious and definitely a place we will add to our list of future meeting sites. While losing our brand of choice car this past year to ever be able to buy new again a Pontiac. We were able to continue to retain our most supportive sponsor Bill Rapp. Our annual show at their dealership will celebrate 27 years at the same location this coming season and is noted as an event not to miss in upstate N.Y. every June. The election of our officers went smoothly with no recounts and brought us the following list of leaders to chart our route in and through 2011. President- Paul Zory Vice President- Howard Botting Secretary- Cindy Galuppo Treasurer/Membership - John Downing Newsletter- Natalie DiBiase- Eymer Webmaster- Jimmy Patterson Jr. 2011 Activities Director- Perry Galuppo Sunshine Chairman- Terry Young Chapter Contact & Smoke Signals Advisor-Jim Patterson Sr. In our drawings of the night was a special handmade Chapter Clock created and donated by member Howard Botting our new Vice-President. Another prized item of the evening was a Pontiac Christmas wreath provided by our Treasurer John Downing. (Pictures attached) This night also brought us our 1st seasons snow fall which didnt seem to stop for over two weeks and put us 2nd in the record books for the most snow in one month in Syracuse which is saying something. It is a short show season here we try to make the best of. Liking to eat as you can see from our meeting schedule. Our activity archives page on our web site for 2010 shows. We held a Winter Rat Show, attended many a Cruise night along with local shows and even enjoyed some miniature golf and ate our share and then some. A group of us attended the Charleston Convention and plans are in the works for the trip to Bowling Green this coming summer. New members joined throughout the year bringing with them a whole lot of Pontiac pride. It always amazes me how people never join till after they have a car instead of using all the tools and connections membership offers. We ask everyone to bookmark our chapters web site to ride along as we search out our next Pontiac adventure. www.SixNationsPOCI.org
