Southern Ohio Buckeye Chapter News Update

With fair weather finally here, we are looking forward to having some cruises and outdoor activities. On Sunday, May 20th we will be cruising to the Fairborn Quaker Steak and Lube for one of our LEOs (That stand for: Lets Eat Out) and on Sunday, June 10th we plan on a Cruise/Poker Run to the Covered Bridges of Greene County with a picnic stop along the way. Our Car Show Chairmen and their committee are busy collecting door prizes and items for goodie bags for our Sunday, August 5, 2007 car show at Bill Delord Autocenter, 917 Columbus Ave. (S.R. 42) in Lebanon, OH. Our first two shows were a huge success and this year we hope the event will continue to grow beyond the 114 cars we had last year. This years event will be opened to Cadillacs as well as Buicks, Olds and Pontiacs. We will be awarding five additional Top trophies taking the total to 25 and we have added two new classes: Modified and Race Car. We will again have childrens activities and each child will receive a special goodie bag and door prize. There will be dash plaques for the first 100 entries and adult door prizes and goodie bags for everyone. Chapter Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at Fuddruckers, 8850 Kingsridge Dr. in Miamisburg, Ohio (In the Dayton Mall vicinity). We are actively seeking new members and visitors are welcome at any meeting. We are a family oriented group and have at least one planned activity each month.
